This book visually interprets a poem by Anne Ni Ghlinn about post-surgical emotions of a breast cancer survivor. A monochromatic palette illustrates the survivor’s haunting visions, with brush and pen strokes representing the surgeon’s incisions. All ‘o’s in the text are exaggerated to reflect the shape of the breast and the survivor’s infatuation with that which is lost.
